        About the First Certificate
(FCE) Exam : 

         The FCE consists of 4 papers :

  1. Reading and Use of English: 1 hour 15 minutes (7 parts/52 questions)
  2. Writing: 1 hour 20 minutes (2 parts)
  3. Listening: 40 minutes (4 parts/30 questions)
  4. Speaking : 14 minutes (4 parts)

          The five different skills are each worth 20 per cent of your total mark.

This course is designed to prepare candidates for the Cambridge FCE (First Certificate in English) examination. FCE is widely recognised in commerce and industry, and by educational institutions in Britain and overseas as proof of language ability. The examination is aimed at an upper intermediate level of competence.
