TIP. You should follow this procedure

1. Read the  title  of the  text  and any subheadings, and skim the text  quickly. This will give you an idea of what the text  is about. Don't read the  whole text yet.

2.  Read the questions carefully and underline key words.

3. Look through each section of the text to find the information. You don't  need to  read the text in detail.   Look for  words  or expressions   which  mean the same as the  words  in the question. Underline possible answers in pencil.  Be careful  - there may be similar information in different   sections.

4. Leave any questions that you are not sure of, and go back to them at the end.  You should always choose an answer, as you will not lose any marks in the exam for a wrong answer.

5. When you have finished, transfer your answer to your answer sheet.
